  • What is the best way to review information to prepare for the final exam?
      1. We want you to succeed! Which is why at the end of of each chapter there will be an exam that will count towards your final grade
      2. Complete each step in the chapter > your workbook will be especially helpful
      3. Many students find reading the entire textbook first sets them up for success. After reading the textbook they enter the full course progressing through the videos, workbook and manual (again) chapter by chapter.
      4. Take lots of summary notes, mark your workbook and manual printout. These are great to review plus the very act of making notes helps embed the information.  
  • Is it mandatory to complete the workbook?
      1. The Workbook and Study Guide provides assistance in the retention of the course material. You are not required to submit the workbook for grading. However, experience has shown that individuals who faithfully use the Workbook and Study Guide achieve greater understanding of the course materials than those who do not use a workbook.
      2. You will also find information in the workbook that is not in textbook that will be mandatory for answering certain questions on the chapter exam
      3. The workbook offers 80 engaged learning exercises to hardwire your understanding. The 80 questions are not just rote learning and retyping words from the manual or video. Rather the workbook offers excellent mentoring and additional teachings while contextualizing questions for you to think through. By completing the workbook your take away expertise is greatly enhanced.  
  • Do I have to complete all of the quizzes in the module?
      1. Yes. Each section of the module is ‘gated’ > meaning you can’t advance further into the course until you complete each step. It is set up this way because what you learn at each step informs how you look at subsequent sections. 
  • Will my final exam be online? 
      1. Yes. After you complete each module of the course there will be an exam at the end – this will go towards you final grade
  • What happens if I fail my exam?
      1. If you fail any portion of your Examination, you will be offered the opportunity to resubmit that portion of the examination, free of charge. (This is known as your second attempt at the examination.) Each retest beyond the second attempt (e.g., third attempt, fourth attempt, etc.) will incur an administrative fee.
  • Are there CEU’s available for my certification course? 
  1. As the most current certifications available, all newly published in 2022, TWIST will be securing CEU’s for the most common organizations. The specific CEU’s awarded per organization will be added to the web site as they become available. 
  2. The TWIST certification courses are an industry standard that you can readily petition, which means submitting to your association requesting CEU’s. Track your study time and provide the course information to the organization you wish to request CEU’s for your continued education.  
  • What happens if I do not complete my course by the expiration date?
      1. For all TWIST University Certifications, if you do not finish within 6 months, your student account will become inactive. A 2-month extension may be requested for a non-refundable fee. Completion of the program beyond the final extension period requires re-enrollment.

      1. We want you to succeed! Which is why at the end of of each chapter there will be an exam that will count towards your final grade

      3. Many students find reading the entire textbook first sets them up for success. After reading the textbook they enter the full course progressing through the videos, workbook and manual (again) chapter by chapter.
      4. Take lots of summary notes, mark your workbook and manual printout. These are great to review plus the very act of making notes helps embed the information.  
  • Is it mandatory to complete the workbook?
      1. The Workbook and Study Guide provides assistance in the retention of the course material. You are not required to submit the workbook for grading. However, experience has shown that individuals who faithfully use the Workbook and Study Guide achieve greater understanding of the course materials than those who do not use a workbook.
      2. You will also find information in the workbook that is not in textbook that will be mandatory for answering certain questions on the chapter exam

      1. Yes. After you complete each module of the course there will be an exam at the end – this will go towards you final grade

      1. If you fail any portion of your Examination, you will be offered the opportunity to resubmit that portion of the examination, free of charge.   • Are there CEU’s available for my certification course? 
  1. As the most current certifications available, all newly published in 2022, TWIST will be securing CEU’s for the most common organizations. The specific CEU’s awarded per organization will be added to the web site as they become available. 
  2. The TWIST certification courses are an industry standard that you can readily petition, which means submitting to your association requesting CEU’s. Track your study time and provide the course information to the organization you wish to request CEU’s for your continued education.  
  • What happens if I do not complete my course by the expiration date?
      1. For all TWIST University Certifications, if you do not finish within 6 months, your student account will become inactive. A 2-month extension may be requested for a non-refundable fee. Completion of the program beyond the final extension period requires re-enrollment.

      1. We want you to succeed! Which is why at the end of of each chapter there will be an exam that will count towards your final grade
      2. Complete each step in the chapter > your workbook will be especially helpful
      3. Many students find reading the entire textbook first sets them up for success. After reading the textbook they enter the full course progressing through the videos, workbook and manual (again) chapter by chapter.
      4. Take lots of summary notes, mark your workbook and manual printout. These are great to review plus the very act of making notes helps embed the information.  
  • Is it mandatory to complete the workbook?
      1. The Workbook and Study Guide provides assistance in the retention of the course material. You are not required to submit the workbook for grading. However, experience has shown that individuals who faithfully use the Workbook and Study Guide achieve greater understanding of the course materials than those who do not use a workbook.
      2. You will also find information in the workbook that is not in textbook that will be mandatory for answering certain questions on the chapter exam
      3. The workbook offers 80 engaged learning exercises to hardwire your understanding. The 80 questions are not just rote learning and retyping words from the manual or video. Rather the workbook offers excellent mentoring and additional teachings while contextualizing questions for you to think through. By completing the workbook your take away expertise is greatly enhanced.  
  • Do I have to complete all of the quizzes in the module?
      1. Yes. Each section of the module is ‘gated’ > meaning you can’t advance further into the course until you complete each step. It is set up this way because what you learn at each step informs how you look at subsequent sections. 
  • Will my final exam be online? 
      1. Yes. After you complete each module of the course there will be an exam at the end – this will go towards you final grade
  • What happens if I fail my exam?
      1. If you fail any portion of your Examination, you will be offered the opportunity to resubmit that portion of the examination, free of charge. (This is known as your second attempt at the examination.) Each retest beyond the second attempt (e.g., third attempt, fourth attempt, etc.) will incur an administrative fee.
  • Are there CEU’s available for my certification course? 
  1. As the most current certifications available, all newly published in 2022, TWIST will be securing CEU’s for the most common organizations. The specific CEU’s awarded per organization will be added to the web site as they become available. 
  2. The TWIST certification courses are an industry standard that you can readily petition, which means submitting to your association requesting CEU’s. Track your study time and provide the course information to the organization you wish to request CEU’s for your continued education.  
  • What happens if I do not complete my course by the expiration date?
      1. For all TWIST University Certifications, if you do not finish within 6 months, your student account will become inactive. A 2-month extension may be requested for a non-refundable fee. Completion of the program beyond the final extension period requires re-enrollment.

  • Growth and development is challenging for kids in any era, Covid19 raised the level of difficulty as does modern society, more sedentary living and social media. 
  • Low self-esteem, negative self talk, low motivation, low mood, depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, eating disorders, and other forms of mental illness are factors in more sedentary unhealthy lifestyles, and lead to increasing substance abuse, harm of others and suicide. Innovative Brain-Body 3D Training Methodology

Your body is like the HARDWARE – the physical elements of your computer, monitor, keyboard, printer.  It starts functioning when software is loaded into the system and operates as well as the software is smart.

 

Your brain and its neural networks wired into the body is the SOFTWARE – the systems and programs that make computations to devise instructions telling the hardware how to perform a physical task.

 

The brain’s neural network has millions of receptors and sensors – most dense on hands and feet – plus all along the body via the long line of fascia from head to toe  and, in joints and ligaments. Integrated Science

The TWIST Sport Science, Performance Training and Rehabilitation faculty’s research focuses on applied science, examining the efficacy of specific athletic concepts, methods and techniques for high level kinetic motion.

 

See your body as your “human vehicle”. To discover sport excellence or the best way to an active lifestyle across the full lifespan, the secret key to unlock your fullest physicality is combining brain with body to net 3D movement skills. This type of physicality is like an “all-terrain human vehicle”, mobile, strong and agile in all directions.

 

In mainstream fitness, programs are developed to burn fat and build muscle. Body building techniques grow a thick lean physique but like a statue. Group fitness programs use fun movement mainly to produce sweat and burn calories.

 

TWIST’s roots are in sport and science, not in fitness.

 

That focussed our lens on sport performance, not fitness or physique, so every single decision prescribed training from proven research that produces exceptional athleticism and movement skills.
